With four new films released for Ramzan, the theatres after a very bad month of lowest collections, finally witnesses good returns. Mammootty starrer ‘Nasraani’ is the front runner among the new releases, even though ‘Chocolate’ is also running too close for the top slot.
The top Malayalam films of the week are:
‘Nasraani’ - Directed by Joshy. The film has Mammooty stereotype at his best.
‘Chocolate’ - Prithviraj who is forced to study in a women's college. The sure shot hit formula unleashed by debutant Sachi-Sethu duo has been grace fully paced by Shafi.
‘Black Cat’ - Director Vinayan and Suresh Gopi join hands for the first time. Overall pacing of this comedy action-thriller may help it to survive for quite a few weeks.
‘Arabikatha’ - This Sreenivasan starrer directed by Lal Jose, still is a part in the major cities now celebrating more than hundred days on select release centres.
