A train load of palm oil arrived at the Ernakulam Harbour Terminus railway station on Monday. Railway sources said that the consignment arrived in 35 wagons, from the Chennai port, for being supplied to a private company here. The palm oil is being pumped to huge storage tanks of the company in Wellingdon Island.
Two more train loads of palm oil are likely to be brought here, since the government and the High Court have imposed restrictions on palm oil being brought through the sea route
