Enabling Lord Ayyappa's devotees to have `darshan' on cyberspace, the Travancore Devasom Board plans to make an arrangement on the internet.
The facility would be known as `e-darshan' the details of which were being worked out.
The Board has also plans to introduce smart cards for devotees to obtain Sabarimala prasadams `aravana' and `appam' through counters set up in various spots at Sannidhanam, Pampa and other centres, where pilgrims congregate during the peak season from mid-November to mid-January.
This would help ease the heavy rush at prasadam counters, now operating only at Sannidhanam. There are also plans to set up a new `aravana' making plant as the present one close to the temple complex is not safe and lacks adequate facilities..
