Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac said here on Monday that the Kerala Lottery would be re-launched in December. The re-launch was part of the ongoing efforts to make the public aware of the illegal activities in the lottery scene. The commission for a ticket would be increased from December.
More prizes would be given to people purchasing Kerala lottery. Dr. Isaac said the Finance Department would issue advertisements in the media highlighting the illegal route being adopted by some lottery operators in the State. He said the advantages of buying Kerala lottery would also be explained in detail through a campaign.
The Minister said there was delay in release of prize money for Kerala lottery. A hologram seal would be printed on each lottery to speed up the process of prize allotment.
